It's all about cars, Lightning in particular. Just like every other little boy Jared is a Cars fan, and we're looking forward to the new movie this summer. Grandma also came through with a winner and gave him his very own pillow pet so he could play with his big sisters.
Now this isn't the most spectacular birthday cake, but it looks cool, and one of the things my children look forward to on their birthday is making their own cake with Mom.
The best present of all is a garage where all the cars can play, park, and go to sleep at night.
Things I love about Jared

- "Can I give you a kiss."
- Singing the words to all the songs in Nursery
- He loves to play games and put puzzles together
- Makes crafts with Julene and can use the scissors
- Is thrilled if Janae, Nathan, or Marianne will play trains with him
- Has an excellent memory, and asks me what things are called so he can remember it, and has a very advanced vocabulary because of it
It is also Tanner's 6th month Birthday. We didn't celebrate, just acknowledged it. Everyone likes his fun new giggle - he's found his voice. He's ticklish, and likes to play with toys now. Still hasn't rolled from his back to his front, but it will come soon. He still has great big cheeks that are perfect for kissing, and sometimes squeezing (trying to discourage that.) Everyone likes to feed him now that he eats solids, especially Julene. She is a great helper since she goes to school just half a day.
