Family Baseball

Nathan's Baseball team had a family baseball party. The boys against their families. The boys won of course, but it was a fun activity for our family. Jared loved being able to participate and made sure everyone had a baseball hat to wear. He even let me borrow his because I didn't bring one. 

They even got me up to bat and as usual had too much hip action. I have to keep up my reputation of being and embarrassment to my family. I haven't played since being in a singles group, but it brought back all my memories playing little league when I was Nathan's age. My arms and legs were very sore the next day.

Randy volunteered to be catcher for the pitching machine. He's realized that he can't throw a ball straight since he broke his elbow - a reminder never to coach baseball. He'll stick to soccer where you just use your feet. He chose to slide two times to bring in some extra excitement. He tore a hole in his pants and got a nasty scab on his knee, but he said it was worth it.

summer Happenings

In June she lost her first tooth and the second came a few weeks later.

We've had fun having picnics at the library and swimming pool. They sure like using the picnic basket. We originally got them for our wedding and it sure adds a fun summer atmosphere.

 

We've had some fun days at the park and Janae is a big help we sure missed her when she went to girls' camp. Tanner spends most of his time outside in the stroller.

We went to the children's activities for the fourth and participated in a juggling show. We enjoy the crafts and face painting.
